NRL-DRUG DISCOVERY DIVISION:

NRL-Drug Discovery Division is currently generating new class of small molecules, peptides and biologicals, filing US and international patents, based on three distinct NRL's core drug discovery technology platforms. The company would like to partner development of such therapeutics with major pharmaceutical companies around the globe. In order to achieve fast-track development of innovative drugs, the company is building a strong IP portfolio and an Advisory team with expertise in their fields around the globe.

TARGET DISEASES

Diabetes (Type I/Type II)

Obesity

Rheumatoid Arthritis / Osteoarthritis

Inflammatory Bowl Disease (Crohn's/Colitis)

Multiple Sclerosis

Cancer (Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Lung Cancer)

Alzheimer's Disease

Cardivascular Diseases

Platform Technology I
NATURAL PRODUCT BASED SMALL MOLECULES
In 2008, NRL formed its Bioinformatics Division to categorize over 100,000 small molecules of natural origin. The company utilized such data base to selectively create NEW CLASS OF MOLECULES based on Quantitative Structure-Activity-Relation (QSAR). The technology is totally distinct from conventional medicinal chemistry approach, and involves fast-track drug designing of molecules with high efficacy and minimal side effects.

Platform Technology II
EPITOPE-LINKED ANTIBODY THERAPEUTICS
NRL has identified and developed a novel core technology platform of generating target based antibodies to treat various chronic diseases. The technology currently under development is totally distinct from the conventional antibody therapy and generates selective antibodies against highly conserved target epitopes.

Platform Technology III
PEPTIDE BASED GPCR-MODULATORS
G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) represent the family of proteins with the highest impact on therapeutics development. Today more than 50% of drug targets are based on GPCRs and the annual world-wide sales exceed $50 billion. GPCRs are involved in all major disease areas such as cardiovascular, metabolic, neurodegenerative, psychiatric, cancer and infectious diseases. NRL is developing highly specific small peptide based lead molecules in collaboration with its partner company for the treatment of Angiogenesis, Hair Loss and IBD.
